How much money can be made per week?
In our experience, the sales cycle can take anywhere from 5 up to a max of 14 weeks to sell 100 ads. The majority of our current "city maps" will feature 80 ad's.Ad costs will vary depending on the size of ad you sell as well as the economics of your area or city, so between $375 to $2000 per ad spot depend on the size of the ad. For instance, "approximate" ad costs for the back panel of the map when folded will sell for $1600 to $2000. There are also single, double, triple and max exposure size ad's.
We provide the printing

We receive only a portion of your sales to create the map.
You keep the larger portion of the sales proceeds for your effort and pay us the remainder to design the ads and create the map. We will take care of the customer proofing via email or mail, we put the map together, based on the plotted physical street map you provide us, and illustrate the entire map in cartoon form to print ready art. We then have you proof it (to find any possible typos, errors, etc), then it's off to the printer for your desired quantity - 12,000 to 100,000+ maps then shipping them directly to you.
What do you need to do to begin selling?
- Think of a name for your map company. Try and include your location and the word "map" within the name, for instance; Nashville City Maps. We can help you with this as you will need to make sure the web site name is avaible. You can check URL availabilty here www.instantdomainsearch.com
- Obtain a business license within your city. Usually costs about $25
- Open a DBA checking account. Some bank require a Fictitious Business Name Statement to open a DBA account. The cost for that is $25 to possibly $50 depending on the publication you choose
